**Job Description:** ---------------------- **This position is also inclusive for people with disabilities (PCDs).** Facilities manager responsible for the scope of facilities management across the following specialties: * Building Maintenance (Electrical; Plumbing; Civil; Refrigeration Systems; HVAC; Fire Suppression); * Cleaning and Conservation; * MHE Maintenance (Material Handling Equipment and Battery Room); * Pallet Door Maintenance Condominium management (services, condominium fees, etc.) **Requirements** -------------- **What are the requirements?** * Completed technical or undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering * Experience in facilities management, management of third-party service providers, and client relationship management * A professional certification in facilities management is a plus * Leadership and communication skills **Responsibilities** --------------------- **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Analyze failures using management software and operational tools; * Plan and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for cold rooms, refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, generators, QTA, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression systems, docks, dock levelers, high-speed doors, electric forklifts, and material handling equipment; * Manage maintenance and third-party contracts; * Manage assets and documentation; * Maintain up-to-date maintenance plans, technical reports, critical spare parts tracking, and maintenance contracts; * Issue purchase requisitions for maintenance materials and parts, and follow up on procurement activities; * Supervise and monitor departmental performance indicators (KPIs); * Provide technical support to operational and administrative departments; * Supervise and monitor team members during execution/management of corrective and preventive maintenance activities; * Support implementation of new projects and adaptations; * Interface with Corporate departments to ensure proper alignment and standardization of activities; * Develop, organize, and conduct training on area-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for the team. Identify actual team training needs to ensure tasks are performed in compliance with GDP standards, thereby multiplying knowledge; * Support and develop the team to ensure uniform achievement of all departmental goals and obligations. * Financial monitoring and management of the Maintenance department; * Participate in internal and external audits; * Implement cost-reduction initiatives; * Comply with SHE, Quality, and Human Resources requirements; * Perform other duties assigned to this role. **About DHL** --------------- DHL Supply Chain is a global leader in logistics, connecting people and businesses.
