Job Summary: A professional to perform welding, build/restore parts, and carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on molds, diagnosing failures and identifying root causes. Analyzing and diagnosing mold failures **Job Responsibilities:** **\-** Perform low-complexity welding on parts, fixtures, and molds; **\-** Build or restore parts to be used in maintenance operations; **\-** Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on molds; **\-** Read and interpret part and component drawings; **\-** Diagnose mold failures directly on the machine or at the workbench, identifying wear, burrs, cracks, and deformations; **\-** Conduct failure/breakage analysis to identify root causes; **\-** Perform other tasks of equivalent complexity, as required by the department/company. **Requirements:** **\-** Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, toolmaking, or related fields; **\-** Overhead crane operator training; **\-** Technical competence in TIG welding, technical drawing interpretation, mechanical manufacturing processes, among others.
