Responsibilities and Duties
\* Develop detailed projects for systems, machines, parts, or structures using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
\* Prepare technical drawings and schematics according to provided technical specifications, adhering to applicable standards and regulations.
\* Interpret and review technical specifications, diagrams, and sketches, converting them into feasible and detailed projects for manufacturing or construction.
\* Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to ensure projects meet functional, safety, and quality requirements, and propose efficient design solutions.
\* Develop and monitor project development schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
\* Review and adjust projects based on feedback from engineers, clients, or production teams, ensuring modifications are accurate and properly documented.
\* Create and organize detailed technical documentation, including bills of materials, specifications, and assembly manuals.
\* Monitor the manufacturing and assembly of designed products, providing technical support to production and assembly teams.
\* Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and design methodologies to improve project quality and efficiency.
\* Oversee mechanical projects from the conceptual phase through implementation, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
\* Develop innovative solutions to optimize production processes and reduce operational costs.
\* Be familiar with applicable safety regulations and standards, such as NRs, ASME, and API, among others.
\* Support the development and implementation of technical and quality procedures, work instructions, inspection and test plans (ITPs), etc.
\* Prepare periodic performance reports and report to management.
\* Support the technical documentation team.
\* Partner with peers to ensure customer satisfaction.
\* Partner with peers to ensure the financial health of contracts.
\* Support the implementation of programs such as 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Requirements and Qualifications
\* Technical or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Naval Engineering
\* Proven experience in developing mechanical, structural, or similar projects.
\* Proficiency in CAD/CAE software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
\* Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NRs, ASME, API, and other applicable quality standards.
\* Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and commitment.
\* Analytical capability and experience resolving quality-related issues.
\* Reside in Macaé/RJ or Rio das Ostras/RJ.
