* Restock the counter and refrigerators according to established procedures.
* Handle products carefully to avoid breakage, always seeking optimal utilization.
* Follow hygiene and food safety procedures to ensure product quality and freshness.
* Use appropriate tools and equipment for cutting and handling meat, such as knives, saws, grinders, among others.
* Identify and sort meat cuts according to established quality, weight, and presentation standards.
* Keep the workplace clean and organized, including meat storage and refrigeration areas.
* Package and label meat products appropriately, in compliance with current regulations and standards.
* Provide excellent customer service by offering information about different meat cuts and preparation suggestions.
* Meet established deadlines for meat preparation and display to prevent waste.
* Assist in receiving meat orders and verifying invoices.
* Check expiration dates and quality of displayed meats.
* Tare the product before weighing.
* Replace price labels and signage.
* Validate price changes on scales.
* Assist in conducting meat inventory counts and flag any missing cuts.
* Maintain the counter with expiration date labels.
* Assemble the counter starting with bone-in cuts; whole pieces must be displayed on hooks with identification labels.
* Sanitize chicken and pork and verify expiration dates using the FIFO (First Expired, First Out) method.
* Position Angus cuts, artisanal hamburgers, and skewers attractively and commercially.
* Clean and sanitize the work environment and equipment according to the cleaning schedule.
* Clean and sanitize freezers and refrigerated chambers.
* Carry out meat reutilization in accordance with the applicable Work Instruction.
* Package meat cuts in trays for self-service display, ensuring the meat's origin seal and weight label are present.
* Weigh products.
* Sort delivery orders within the stipulated timeframe and package them in trays or vacuum-sealed bags.
* Serve customers by understanding their needs and offering products accordingly.
* Participate in training and updates related to cutting techniques, food safety standards, and industry regulations.
· Clean equipment and machinery according to the established schedule.
* Follow store safety procedures, including proper equipment handling, correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring work areas remain clear and unobstructed.
* Apply good practices for handling and storing merchandise to reduce damaged goods. Report damaged items to the Loss Prevention department upon identification.
* Deliver excellent customer service, assisting customers whenever requested and remaining available to them.
