Assistance in cutting, portioning, and weighing meats **Butcher Assistant** At Boi Nobre Butchery, we seek a Butcher Assistant to support daily department activities, focusing on organization, hygiene, product handling and preservation, as well as delivering excellent customer service. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Serve customers at the counter, assisting with product selection and clarifying inquiries; * Assist in cutting, portioning, grinding, and weighing meats as requested; * Restock the counter and self-service area, replenishing products as needed; * Price and label butcher and frozen products; * Monitor expiration dates of displayed products; * Assist in inventory control, reporting replenishment needs; * Ensure proper product preservation to prevent losses and waste; * Clean cold rooms, workbenches, equipment, and utensils; * Maintain sector cleanliness and organization; * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards; * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE); * Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor; * Assist in receiving and storing goods; * Perform other related tasks assigned by leadership. **Requirements:** * Flexible availability; * Prior experience in butchery, supermarkets, or similar roles is preferred (but not mandatory). **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On-site meals; * Breakfast and afternoon coffee; * In-store purchase discount; * Birthday day off (date to be agreed upon in advance with leadership).
