Reading and interpretation of technical drawings with a focus on safety **Job Description** The MIG Soluções is seeking an **Installation Mechanic** to perform assembly, installation, inspection, and maintenance of steel, foscoper, copper, and multilayer piping systems used for gas or air conveyance. The professional will carry out building gas installations, leak-tightness tests, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as interpret technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications. Strict adherence to technical standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures is mandatory. **Responsibilities** * Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems (steel, copper, multilayer, and foscoper). * Perform building gas installations. * Conduct leak-tightness tests. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. * Read and interpret project drawings, layouts, and specifications. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations. **Mandatory Requirements** * Valid driver's license and personal transportation. * Proven experience in building gas installations. * Knowledge of electrode welding (steel) and foscoper/tin soldering (copper). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety. **Desirable Requirements** * Training in gas or hydraulic systems. * Experience in medium- and large-scale construction projects. * Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
