




Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for administrative, financial, and research project management tasks, including budgeting, scholarship management, and document compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Administrative and financial management of research projects. 2. Budget control and accountability reporting for research funds. 3. Logistical coordination and institutional partnership management. **Internal and External Position** ***Duties and Responsibilities***: Request purchases, quotations, and service tickets (for procurement, maintenance, IT, and infrastructure); Monitor budgets, analyze costs, and manage the financial aspects of research projects; Request and track advances, reimbursements, and the Research Support Fund; Prepare accountability reports for research funds and FAP; Record, monitor, and manage research scholarships (Art. 170, FUMDES, ProBIC), including scholar replacements; Process invoices and other project-related expenses; Draft official letters, reports, technical opinions, and submissions; Update systems and monitor the financial execution of projects; Monitor bank accounts, balances, liabilities, and investments; Plan, organize, and track project activities and schedules; Ensure adherence to deadlines, regulations, and funding call requirements; Logistical coordination (accommodation, transportation, consultants, and vehicles for research); Manage partnerships and institutional procedures (agreements, donations, payments, and documentation); Ensure compliance of fiscal and administrative documents; Disseminate institutional information and project outcomes. **Requirements:** Completed undergraduate degree; Experience in administrative and financial routines; Experience with institutional systems and funder platforms; Experience in research project management; Familiarity with funding agencies (FAP, FUMDES, Art. 170, CNPq, CAPES, or similar). Knowledge of technical report and opinion writing; Understanding of UNIVALI’s internal workflows (procurement, service tickets, contracts, scholarships, agreements); Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; High level of organization and attention to detail. Proactivity and autonomy; Clear communication and ability to coordinate across departments and external partners. Ability to plan and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
