Job Summary: Perform maintenance activities on water distribution networks and branch lines, water meters, and carry out masonry tasks and vehicle operation. Key Highlights: 1. Perform maintenance and installation of water meters and water distribution networks. 2. Operate valves and measure pressure in water distribution networks. 3. Drive vehicles and complete service orders and control spreadsheets. **Working Hours:** * To be determined. **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform maintenance activities on water distribution networks, branch lines, and meter pits. * Properly mark maintenance locations. * Perform maintenance, installation, and replacement of water meters. * Execute new water connections. * Cut asphalt and excavate trenches using tools and equipment, or assist the backhoe operator in identifying excavation locations. * Operate motorized pumps for repairing water networks. * Drain water networks at meter pits and valves. * Operate network valves. * Measure water pressure at meter pits and distribution networks. * Investigate incidents of water shortage and discolored water. * Carry out expansion and connection of water supply networks. * Complete service orders, indicating services performed and materials used. * Ensure cleanup and removal of debris from work sites. * Drive motor vehicles for field mobility, in compliance with traffic regulations and legislation. * Complete auxiliary vehicle control spreadsheets, daily logs, and vehicle checklists. * Periodically inspect the assigned vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions to the immediate supervisor to request maintenance. * Perform minor masonry tasks required for finishing network maintenance work. * Clean, organize, and store equipment, materials, and tools. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Completed elementary education. * Knowledge of water and sewage network maintenance. * Driver's license AB.
