Driver - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating vehicles and equipment to collect waste, transporting teams, and ensuring vehicle safety and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating vehicles and equipment for collecting various types of waste. 2. Responsible for inspecting and performing preventive/corrective maintenance on vehicles. 3. Guiding the team and reporting incidents to ensure safety and efficiency. **Working Hours: 2:20 PM to 10:35 PM** * Drive the vehicle and operate equipment to perform solid waste collection services—including common waste, recyclable waste, special waste, healthcare service waste, and general service waste—according to the established route; * Drive the bus to transport employees from mechanical weeding teams; * Request assistance from collectors when performing reverse maneuvers, ensuring the collector is off the step and within the driver's field of vision; * Conduct a pre-shift vehicle inspection, complete the checklist, and report any irregularities identified to the immediate supervisor; * Complete the daily log sheet, recording data for production control; * Report to the immediate supervisor information regarding team collectors’ behavior, productivity, performance, or any incidents, so appropriate measures can be taken; * Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and equipment by implementing preventive measures in accordance with manuals and regulations; * Report any irregularities in services or collection points to the supervisor; * Maintain the vehicle’s condition by cleaning the cab and informing the supervisor about the need for corrective or preventive maintenance, as well as tire replacement or rotation; * Take the vehicle to authorized dealerships or workshops for maintenance; * Guide the team to comply with safety regulations applicable to their work area; * Report workplace or traffic accidents to the supervisor and follow received instructions.
