**About the position**
We are seeking a professional with a "full-stack infrastructure" profile, capable of handling both traditional environment administration and modern DevOps, SRE, and database support practices.
The professional will directly participate in the operation, monitoring, automation, and evolution of the infrastructure supporting e\-Cidade and related applications, working across production, staging, and development environments.
This role involves close collaboration with development, support, and operations teams; therefore, systemic thinking, analytical capability, and strong technical communication skills are essential.
**Key responsibilities**
Administration and maintenance of Linux environments and server infrastructure;
Management of e\-Cidade production, staging, and development environments;
Continuous monitoring of servers, applications, databases, and critical services;
Implementation of DevOps and SRE practices to ensure service stability, availability, and continuity;
Automation of provisioning, deployment, and operational routines;
Administration and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases;
Execution and validation of backup and restore procedures;
Investigation and resolution of infrastructure and performance incidents;
Log analysis and failure diagnosis for applications and services;
Monitoring of availability and performance using observability tools;
Administration of Docker containers and virtualized environments;
Management of physical and virtual infrastructure;
Operating system, application, and database updates;
Implementation of preventive and corrective improvements in critical environments;
Creation and maintenance of automation scripts;
Technical support to development and support teams;
Participation in continuous infrastructure improvement and delivery pipeline initiatives;
Tracking of metrics, thresholds, alerts, and operational indicators;
Support in troubleshooting customer environments;
Technical documentation of environments, processes, and operational procedures.
**Technical requirements**
**Mandatory**
Linux environment administration expertise;
PostgreSQL experience;
Docker knowledge;
Automation and scripting skills in Shell Script and/or Python;
Git knowledge;
Hands-on experience troubleshooting infrastructure and applications;
Knowledge of networking, services, and protocols;
Basic virtualization concepts;
Backup and restore procedure knowledge;
Monitoring and performance analysis knowledge;
Analytical and proactive problem-solving mindset.
**Preferred qualifications**
Cloud experience;
Ansible and Terraform knowledge;
Proxmox experience;
Observability tools knowledge (e.g., Grafana, PRTG, Zabbix or similar);
CI/CD practices experience;
PHP and JavaScript knowledge;
High availability and load balancing experience;
Experience supporting critical enterprise applications;
Experience in public/government environments;
Apache, Nginx, and web services knowledge;
Automated deployment pipeline knowledge;
Familiarity with DevOps/SRE culture.
