**Title:** HSE Manager I
**Location:**Rio de Janeiro, BR

**Summary**
Responsible for managing HSSEQ activities and implementing corporate plans, processes, and tools in the Global IRM Brasil region.
Monitor and influence implementation of actions to meet legal requirements, certifications, and compliance with company standards and industry best practices in HSSEQ.
Manage HSSEQ team activities for the Global IRM Brasil region. Supervise HSSEQ requirements necessary to maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001 certifications and compliance with standard 9001\.**Key Responsibilities and Challenges**
* Support managers, coordinators, and all workers across the Global IRM Brasil region in preventing accidents and deviations that could lead to undesirable consequences for people and the company
* Lead the Global IRM Brasil HSSEQ team
* Develop the Global IRM Brasil HSEQ Plan
* Conduct HSEQ critical analysis and develop risk and opportunity assessments for the area
* Identify, monitor, and analyze HSEQ performance indicators
* Deliver training or identify qualified vendors to fulfill HSEQ training needs
* Promote the dissemination of HSEQ culture within the organization
* Conduct asset audits and inspections
* Jointly prepare, with the Project Manager, the accident investigation analysis for the monthly QLMT meeting
* Manage maintenance and certification of the management system with certification body DNV
**Qualifications and Experience**
**Education**
Academic qualification required to learn job tasks:
Completed undergraduate degree.
Required knowledge:
* Fluent English (mandatory)
* Advanced knowledge of digital HSEQ management tools and legal compliance controls
* Proficiency in Safety and Environmental Management
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 standard
* Knowledge of OHSAS 45001 standard
* Proficiency in HSSEQ management tools and legal compliance controls
Courses and knowledge required for this position:
* Undergraduate degree in Engineering
* Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering
Desired or mandatory field of study:
* Undergraduate degree in Engineering (mandatory)
* Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering (mandatory)
**Experience**
* Minimum 10 years of experience in HSEQ
* Experience conducting internal and external audits, as well as safety inspections
