Proficiency in handling cutting and bending tools for steel reinforcement ### **Rebar Worker (Civil Construction) \- Contagem** **General Description:** Responsible for assembling, cutting, bending, and placing steel reinforcement used in reinforced concrete structures according to structural drawings, ensuring the quality and safety of the construction. **Main Responsibilities:** * Interpret structural drawings and reinforcement detailing; * Cut, bend, and assemble reinforcing bars and steel rods; * Perform reinforcement placement for beams, columns, slabs, footings, and blocks; * Tie reinforcement with annealed wire to ensure firmness and correct positioning; * Position reinforcement according to technical guidance and drawings; * Verify dimensions, spacing, and alignment of reinforcement; * Support concrete pouring while ensuring reinforcement integrity; * Maintain site organization and cleanliness; * Use tools and work equipment correctly; * Comply with occupational safety regulations. **Requirements:** * Primary education; * Experience as a rebar worker in civil construction; * Knowledge of reading structural drawings; * Proficiency in handling cutting and bending tools for steel reinforcement; * Easy access to Contagem / MG.
