Lhoist offers an internship opportunity for undergraduate students in the TS&D (Technical Service & Development) area. Location: São José da Lapa Unit / MG. Schedule: 7:00 AM–2:00 PM or 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Responsibilities: * Requesting, collecting, and shipping samples; * Preparing and analyzing samples of raw materials, products, or formulations under development; * Conducting wet and instrumental chemical analyses according to established methodologies, such as: EDTA complexometry, Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Calorific Value (GCV/NCV), Moisture content by gravimetric or instrumental methods, Particle size distribution (vacuum or vibratory sieving), Particle size measurement using specific techniques such as laser diffraction or Blaine, Reactivity testing per ASTM standards. * Performing customer process simulation tests (industrial applications of products) and comparative evaluations. * Supporting laboratory organization (5S). * Contributing to technical literature research, bibliographic review, and application of theoretical concepts to projects. * Participating in meetings, contributing ideas and technical interpretations. * Preparing technical reports and test certificates to support NBD and TS&D departments. * Supporting the team in delivering technical workshops. * Assisting in reviewing product SDS, preparing technical datasheets, packaging labeling, and technical specifications. Requirements: * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering * Desired knowledge: Microsoft Office suite; currently taking or having completed the following courses: * Laboratory Techniques, General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, * Inorganic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Statistics (Design of Experiments - DOE preferred). * Residing in the Metropolitan Region (São José da Lapa, Vespasiano, Confins, Lagoa Santa, Pedro Leopoldo, Matozinhos, etc.) Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with analytical data compilation.
