Job Summary: Responsible for planning and operating short- and medium-term mining activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable mineral extraction and achievement of targets. Performance indicator management and production plan optimization Responsible for short- and medium-term mining planning and operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable mineral extraction; developing and optimizing production plans; evaluating technical and economic feasibility; monitoring performance indicators; and supporting operational and technical teams to ensure achievement of productivity, cost, tonnage, and quality targets. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Size and optimize fleet/equipment based on performance indicators; supervise fleet operational control and fatigue monitoring; * Develop and manage the operational budget; manage KPIs (production, costs, sustainability); perform statistical analyses of operations to support decision-making; * Analyze and optimize rock blasting/fragmentation; propose continuous process, productivity, and efficiency improvements; * Prepare mandatory reports for the National Mining Agency (ANM) and environmental agencies; ensure legal compliance and Integrated Management System compliance (Quality, Safety, and Environment); * Manage and measure contracts; evaluate suppliers/contractors supporting mine planning and operations; * Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards; promote a "zero-accident" culture; guide and develop technical/operational teams. **Requirements and Qualifications** Required: * Completed undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering; * Microsoft Office suite; * Statistical knowledge; * Relevant work experience. We hold projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to full-scale operations—and employ over 2,100 professionals across Brazil, all committed to our purpose. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Steel Valley, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total Baratinha Complex capacity to 4.0 million tons per year. In João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in Q3 2025. The project holds 130 million tons of resources, including 33 million tons of high-grade material, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year using dry processing only. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará State, near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, the project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers.
