Description
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on low-voltage electrical, hydraulic, and telephone systems; minor repairs; painting, carpentry, and cabinetmaking services to ensure the proper functioning of building facilities.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Plan and monitor inspection and maintenance/operation schedules for electrical, hydraulic, and telephone systems;
* Carry out assembly, adjustment, repair, and installation activities for low-voltage electrical, hydraulic, and telephone equipment and appliances;
* Ensure preservation of electrical, hydraulic, and telephone equipment; provide tools and testing instruments required to perform maintenance and installation services, as well as acceptance and commissioning of new equipment and instruments;
* Install and maintain lighting lines and circuits, including separating, replacing, and securing outlets, switches, fuses, lamps, and air-conditioning units to ensure proper operation of the company’s electrical system;
* Perform maintenance on plumbing systems in general, repairing or replacing water tanks, showerheads, floor drains, valves, stopcocks, faucets, damaged pipes, hydraulic pumps, locating and eliminating leaks, and unclogging pipes;
* Clean water tanks;
* Modify the telecommunications system by improving telephone network and extension installations, adjusting equipment configurations when necessary for optimal performance;
* Perform minor painting services;
* Perform minor cabinetmaking and carpentry services;
* Perform minor general building repairs;
* Perform work at height.;
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Prior experience in building maintenance is desirable;
* NR 35 \- Work at Height;
NR 20 \- Occupational Safety and Health in Handling Flammable and Combustible Materials;
