Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing welding on structures, machines, and components using MMA and MIG processes, ensuring weld quality and conducting visual inspections. Ensuring weld quality in accordance with specifications Perform welding using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/MMA) and Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding processes. This professional works with metals to join parts, perform repairs, and ensure weld quality according to technical specifications. We manage projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle — from greenfield development through to full-scale operations — and employ over 2,100 professionals nationwide, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Steel Valley, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, featuring a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the Baratinha Complex’s total capacity to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year, solely via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará State, near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and primarily employs local workers.
