Machine Operator

Description

Job Summary: The professional will operate and adjust machines, control product quality, and perform basic inspections and maintenance on equipment, in compliance with safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and adjustment of low-complexity machines and equipment 2. Quality control and product monitoring 3. Inspection and maintenance of safety systems and devices Always check the electrical and electronic system status of the machine and/or equipment, as well as safety devices (record in the machine's logbook), at the start of each shift; inspect for any other irregularities on the machine, such as unusual noises (pre\-use equipment inspection); Operate material handling equipment (e.g., overhead cranes) with maximum care, adhering to operational procedures and workplace safety rules, following specific training; Verify that produced products meet quality standards, are properly labeled, and correctly stored; Assist in identifying, weighing, and directing non-conforming products; Align threads and adjust low-complexity machines; Cut the ties from coils loaded and stored in the designated drum, then in the scrap container; Load all feeders according to assigned priorities; Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the machine and its accessories; Assess machine condition, monitor and record in the table fixed beside the machine (stoppage log); Perform routine operational tasks by adjusting and operating low-complexity machines and equipment; Control quality of produced products through measurement and monitoring, with appropriate documentation; Operate machines and/or equipment with maximum care for the equipment itself, following operational procedures (ITs) and workplace safety rules; Check the condition of cutting blades, recording in the machine's logbook; Monitor machine constraints and production requirements, in accordance with the defined sequencing; Verify existence of incomplete work orders (OS) and production needs; Release parts for delivery upon measurement; Assist in the training process of Factory Assistants; Organize the workplace; Other duties relevant to the position. Minimum Education: High School (Secondary Education) Desired Qualification: High School (Secondary Education)
