Join our team as a **Procurement Specialist \- Temporary Position** **Key Responsibilities** * Submit procurement requests for materials and services; * Request materials from inventory for maintenance activities; * Assist in the department’s budget planning; * Attend S\+1, S, and S\-1 scheduling meetings to report potential deviations in material deliveries; * Identify and address supply chain deviations, reporting issues—such as physical inventory differing from accounting inventory, delivery delays, or material delivery errors—to responsible personnel for resolution; * Review maintenance work orders requiring materials, carefully evaluating requests before purchasing to select the optimal delivery timeline and cost; * Verify cost collectors for material requests to prevent incorrect allocation of departmental costs; * Release service orders and verify generation of reservations/requests, following up on purchase orders and material deliveries; * Inspect materials prior to final receipt to avoid unnecessary costs and delays in maintenance execution; * Monitor and follow up on service and material receipts; * Weekly monitoring of material requests for planned services, identifying and addressing deviations found; communicate corrective actions taken to affected parties; * Prepare materials sufficiently in advance to support scheduled activity execution; * Assist in monitoring and updating budget execution; * Process returns of unused materials from ongoing monthly maintenance activities; * Request registration of new items in the system and request approval of items for inventory; * Control spare parts and resources associated with backlog identified by inspectors; * Track component shipment from transportation through arrival at the supplier; * Monitor the technical inspection process and submission of component repair/reconditioning reports; * Maintain controls and generate procurement and component repair shipment reports; * Generate/create technical reports to claim warranties on component repairs. **Requirements** * Prior experience as a Supply Assistant, Warehouse Clerk, or similar role. **Desirable** * Technical degree in Administration, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Prior experience as a procurement specialist; * Knowledge of maintenance planning processes; * Driver’s License Category B. **Competencies** * Work safely * Cooperation * Discipline * Interest in the organization * Commitment to values * Initiative * Time and task management * Communication
