We are seeking a **Junior Test Analyst** who wants to go beyond manual execution and dive into automation. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has already studied programming logic and testing frameworks (such as Cypress or Selenium) and seeks their first major chance to apply this knowledge to a real product, with mentoring from experienced professionals. **What You’ll Do Daily (Responsibilities)** You will work in a hybrid model, ensuring delivery quality and supporting the construction of our automated security network. * **Test Execution and Maintenance:** Run automated test suites daily and investigate why a test failed (was it a bug or does the script need adjustment?). * **Creating New Scripts:** Automate low- and medium-complexity scenarios (Frontend and/or API) under guidance from Senior QAs. * **Intelligent Manual Testing:** Plan and execute manual tests on new features, always thinking: "How can I automate this in the future?". * **Bug Documentation:** Investigate technical issues, analyze simple logs, and open Jira tickets with clear evidence. * **Continuous Learning:** Participate in Code Reviews with the team to learn best practices and improve your coding skills. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What Is Essential for This Role? (Requirements)** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields. We do not require years of experience, but we do require a **solid technical foundation** to support your growth: **Hard Skills (Technical):** * **Programming Logic:** Understanding of basic structures (if/else, loops, variables) in any language (Preferred: Javascript/Typescript, Java, or Python). * **Automation Knowledge:** Completed courses or personal projects using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., **Cypress**, Selenium, Playwright). * **Basic Git:** Ability to clone a repository, save changes (commit), and push to the cloud (push). * **API Concepts:** Understanding of HTTP requests (GET, POST) and status codes (200, 404, 500\). **Soft Skills (Behavioral):** * **Investigative Mindset:** When code breaks, you don’t give up—you read the error message, search Google, and try to understand the root cause. * **Technical Communication:** Ability to clearly explain what you attempted and where you got stuck when asking for help. * **Organization:** Writing readable code and test scenarios for others. **What We Expect from Your Development?** * **Deeper Coding Proficiency:** Evolve from "copy-pasting" scripts to understanding structure and creating reusable functions. * **Tool Mastery:** Become the team’s reference expert on the chosen automation tool. **Nice-to-Haves:** * Knowledge of BDD (Gherkin). * Experience with Postman for API testing. * Portfolio projects on GitHub demonstrating automation. **Additional Information** Flexible Benefit/Meal Allowance: R$ 40.00 per business day.
