If yes, this is your opportunity! **Work Mode**: On-site — Indianópolis/MG As an **Instrumentation Technician II**, your **main responsibilities** will include: * Identifying and proposing improvements to maintenance systems; * Collecting information and data to identify root causes of equipment failures; * Proposing revisions to maintenance procedures and work instructions; * Preparing technical reports; * Verifying functionality of measurement, control, and actuation systems; * Diagnosing typical instrument and measurement system failures, following available methodologies; * Performing field and bench repairs and overhauls; * Executing chronological or condition-based corrective and preventive maintenance, calibrations, and adjustments in the field; * Configuring instruments using analog and microprocessor-based technologies; * Supporting planning activities by providing input for maintenance scheduling; * Recording maintenance and calibration data and events in information systems; * Communicating requirements for "as-built" documentation; * Implementing improvements; * Installing and replacing equipment; * Monitoring equipment operation via the system; * Verifying equipment technical specifications and installation conditions against design documents; * Guiding technical activities during general and scheduled shutdowns; * Supporting equipment and system commissioning, testing, and installation/replacement of equipment We expect you to have the following **technical competencies**: * Instrumentation concepts (Range, Span, Repeatability, Hysteresis, Sensitivity, Accuracy, TAGs, etc.); * Measurement and process control system principles (pressure, flow, level, temperature, analyzers, etc.); * Specification and application of process variable measurement instruments; * Concepts of predictive, preventive, corrective maintenance, and calibration of measurement systems; * Documentation (loop diagrams, P\&I flowcharts, interlock logic diagrams, data sheets); * Operating principles of actuators, controllers, and meters within a control loop; * Characteristics and operation of control valves and their accessories — essential for conventional instrumentation; * HART technology in smart instruments (handheld device usage and HART networks); * Components of digital control systems (I/O cards, control cards, DCS architecture); * Fieldbus-enabled instruments (Profibus and Foundation Fieldbus); * Metrology (basic metrology concepts, ISO 9001 metrological requirements) — desirable; * Maintenance concepts (function, failure, defect, corrective, preventive, predictive, detective, etc.); * MS Office (essential) and SAP; * ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards — desirable We expect you to have the following **qualifications**: * Technical degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electroelectronics, Mechatronics, Metrology, or Automation; or a Technology degree in the same fields. * Technical maintenance experience in instrumentation within an industrial context The following experiences or skills are **desirable but not mandatory**: * Experience in continuous processes — preferably in pulp and paper All qualified candidates will be considered for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
