**Responsibilities and Tasks**
We are looking for a **Team Leader** to lead the Class A/B surface modeling team, working on the development and refinement of automotive surfaces from CAS data or digitized clay models, using **ICEM Surf**.
Beyond technical execution, the professional will be responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring project deliveries meet high-quality standards aligned with Stellantis’ Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing requirements.
* Provide technical leadership to the Class A/B surface modeling team;
* Plan, assign, and monitor modelers’ activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality outputs;
* Develop, model, and optimize Class A/B surfaces using ICEM Surf;
* Conduct technical reviews, identifying and correcting continuity deviations, geometric quality issues, and manufacturing feasibility concerns;
* Ensure compliance with surface quality standards, aesthetic criteria, and Stellantis’ technical requirements;
* Serve as the interface between Design, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers;
* Provide technical support to the team in resolving complex modeling and engineering challenges;
* Participate in technical meetings, project reviews, and decision-making processes;
* Promote standardization of methods, best practices, and team technical development;
* Contribute to continuous improvement of digital surface development processes.
**Mandatory Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Design, or related fields;
* Solid experience in Class A/B surface development for the automotive industry;
* Proven experience in technical leadership or coordination of modeling teams;
* Advanced proficiency in **ICEM Surf**;
* In-depth knowledge of CAS data, clay model digitization, and surface quality criteria;
* Experience in automotive component development from conceptual phases through industrialization;
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical feasibility applied to product development;
* Experience working in an OEM or automotive supplier environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in Stellantis projects;
* Familiarity with CATIA V5/V6 or Siemens NX;
* Advanced English for interfacing with global teams;
* Experience in project management, priority setting, and KPI tracking;
* Leadership profile with strong communication, team development, and decision-making skills.
