LEAR is hiring a **Senior Product Engineer** in Lavras/MG.
**Responsibilities:**
* Participate in product development;
* Request quotations for modifications or development of new products;
* Develop project and product validation test plans and coordinate test execution;
* Define standards and product specifications, perform DFMEA, and participate in PFMEA creation/update;
* Review and maintain bill-of-materials (BOM), supporting Virtual Tear Down processes;
* Provide product technical support to internal and external customers;
* Implement engineering changes/deviations in the company’s integrated system;
* Register engineering data in the company’s integrated system, create BOMs, and perform follow-up;
* Develop cost reduction proposals and implement related activities (CTO);
* Coordinate preparation of product technical documentation for customer system integration;
* Monitor and execute activities linked to Lear’s APQP system and customer APQP systems;
* Coordinate product development and prototype fabrication activities, fostering information synergy among customers (internal and external) and suppliers.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
* Experience in product development for the automotive industry;
* Intermediate/advanced English proficiency for conversation;
* Willingness to travel to other Lear plants and customer sites (minimum once per month);
* Full-time on-site work availability in Lavras/MG.
