Check below for more details about the Quality Assurance Analyst role. **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- **You will:** * Plan, write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases; * Ensure delivery quality through functional, regression, exploratory, and performance testing; * Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand requirements and anticipate possible failures; * Identify, document, and track defect and bug resolution; * Work with test automation and continuous integration tools; * Participate in planning, refinement, and delivery review meetings with a focus on product quality; * Contribute to continuous improvement of quality and software assurance processes; * Perform testing on APIs, web systems, mobile applications, and backend services; * Develop and maintain functional test automation and integration test scripts. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ **You must have:** * Valid academic degree in Portugal: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields; * Professional experience in software testing, QA, or related areas; * Experience in manual and automated testing—including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing; * Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Postman); * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or Lean); * Experience with relational and non-relational databases for data validation and integration testing; * Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements to design efficient test scenarios; * Knowledge of version control with Git and collaborative workflows; * Intermediate English proficiency. **Nice-to-have:** * Experience testing large-scale applications or mission-critical systems; * Knowledge of performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar; * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in continuous integration environments; * Experience testing RESTful APIs; * QA/testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CTFL); * Participation in international projects or global innovation environments. **Additional Information** -------------------------- **You will receive:** * Health insurance; * Life insurance; * Remuneration in euros (€), in a position linked to iCrop Portugal but operating in Brazil.
