We seek a dynamic, detail-oriented, and empathetic professional to join our legal team. The professional will be responsible for handling administrative and judicial proceedings in the social security area (RGPS and/or RPPS), from initial client intake, through strategic rights analysis and calculation preparation, to final case resolution.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
* **Client Intake:** Conduct advisory consultations and initial assessments to understand the contributor’s history and the insured party’s needs.
* **Social Security Planning:** Analyze CNIS (National Register of Social Information), CTPS (Work Record Book), PPP (Professional Profile Profile), and other documents to devise the optimal retirement strategy (transition rules, acquired rights, etc.).
* **Social Security Calculations:** Perform contribution time simulations, RMI (Initial Monthly Income) calculations, and feasibility analyses for reviews (lifetime review, conversion of special service time, among others).
* **Administrative Proceedings:** File, monitor, and appeal decisions through INSS channels (Digital Platform / SAG).
* **Judicial Proceedings:** Draft initial pleadings, rebuttals, appeals (Federal Special Courts and Common Justice), preliminary injunction requests, and deliver oral arguments when necessary.
* **Deadline Management:** Strictly monitor and comply with procedural deadlines using the firm’s case management system.
Requirements and Qualifications — Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in Law with active and regular registration with the **OAB** (Brazilian Bar Association).
* Solid experience practicing Social Security Law.
* Proficiency in social security calculation tools (e.g., *Cálculo Jurídico*, *Previdenciarista*, *Calculadora do CJ*, or similar).
* Familiarity with electronic filing systems (PJe, e-Proc, Projudi) and the Meu INSS / INSS Digital portal.
Desirable (Differentiators):
* Postgraduate degree or specialization in Social Security Law or Civil Procedure Law.
* Knowledge of Social Security Planning focused on own pension regimes (RPPS) or complementary pension.
