For the **Department Manager** position at Decathlon, we operate across the following universes: Fitness & Gym Water Sports Boxing & Martial Arts Racquet Sports Yoga Camping, Hiking & Winter Sports Surfing & Beach Sports Team Sports Cycling Skateboarding, Roller Skating & Scooters Running & Walking Table Tennis & Ping Pong Fishing & Equestrian **Responsibilities and Duties** **What are the main responsibilities?** * Ensuring attractive product presentation within your universe; * Monitoring product performance at point of sale; * Teamwork: recruiting, training, and developing your team; * Managing inventory and product availability; * Collaborating with your team to develop commercial strategies to enhance store economic performance; * Serving sports enthusiasts by understanding consumer purchasing needs across all channels; * Recommending the best product/service according to customer demand. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What do you need?** * Availability to work on weekends/holidays, 44 hours per week on a rotating schedule; * Retail experience; * Experience in people management/team leadership; * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree (considered a plus). **What do we expect from our players?** * Believe in the joys and benefits of sport; * Be action- and challenge-oriented; * Be passionate about customer satisfaction; * Value teamwork and collective play; * Be proactive and entrepreneurial; * Work responsibly and autonomously; * Have courage in decision-making; * Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in adverse situations. **Additional Information** **Our Benefits** * DecaPack: Monthly compensation, transportation allowance, meal or food voucher, medical and dental insurance, Dra.
