Collaboration to resolve production issues and improve delivery outcomes ### **Job Title** Software DevOps Engineer \- Senior Systems Automation Analyst \-\*Opportunity at Philips Varginha, MG\*\- ### **Job Description** **Software DevOps Engineer (** Senior Systems Automation Analyst **)** You will join the Software Research and Development team in Varginha/MG — a globally operating team. You will work directly within the group responsible for developing and maintaining medical devices, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring area (currently focused on general and obstetric multi\-parameter monitors). **Your role:** * Contribute to automating software development processes to accelerate release cycles and strengthen feedback loops, fostering a more agile development environment. * Participate in implementing and maintaining robust version control systems, quality/security analysis tools, and CI/CD pipelines — essential components ensuring secure and continuous code delivery from development to production environments. * Contribute to developing and enhancing automation scripts for build and deployment, working to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and improve reliability. * Collaborate with the development team to effectively manage code releases and rapidly resolve production issues, minimizing operational disruptions. * Integrate into the learning process around DevOps methodologies and best practices, leveraging opportunities to increase team productivity and improve delivery quality. * Understand customer requirements and contribute insights to align DevOps initiatives with broader business objectives, increasing the overall value of deliverables. * Play a role in data\-driven decision\-making processes by actively gathering and analyzing relevant metrics, supporting identification of areas for improvement and optimization. * Adopt a proactive stance toward professional development, actively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in DevOps technologies and methodologies, promoting both personal and team growth. **You are the right person if you have:** * A completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields. * Strong analytical skills, high initiative, a continuous improvement mindset, and a focus on our customers' needs (hospitals and patients). * A consistent desire to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills. * +3 years of experience in software product development. * Intermediate English proficiency is desirable. * Knowledge of: Linux, Build Servers, CI/CD, Git, Python or another scripting language, Groovy Scripts, Makefile. * Familiarity with C/C\+\+, C\# is a plus. * Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Artifactory is desirable. **How do we work together?** We believe we generate greater impact when we work together rather than separately.
