**Your main responsibilities will include:**
* Monitoring the filling, management, and occupation process of the tailings dam reservoir, including planning topographic\-bathymetric surveys and processing survey data;
* Developing dashboards featuring key KPIs and creating action plans for necessary adjustments;
* Preparing a Rainy Season Preparedness Plan for the mine, including sizing operational structures for sediment containment and peak rainfall flow attenuation (sumps), pumping systems, and operational channels;
* Monitoring implementation progress and performance during rainy seasons, issuing recurring dashboards of key KPIs;
* Supporting the development of new surface drainage and sediment containment projects, Mine Master Plans, Tailings Management Plans, among others;
* Supporting the client’s budget cycles to identify required improvements and\/or new implementations for optimizing results or complying with current legislation, including quantification surveys for handover to support departments.
**For this position, we expect you to have:**
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with specialization in water resources;
* Experience in hydrology and hydraulics projects involving dams;
* Desired knowledge or experience with ISO 14001: Environmental Management System (EMS).
