Learn more about our brand at: dex.co **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate cutting, removal, loading, chipping, or mechanical delimbing equipment. Drive timber transport vehicles to meet harvesting planning requirements for raw material used by or sold by the company. Operate motor graders/backhoes. Ensure equipment preservation, cleanliness, and corrective and preventive maintenance; record occurrences of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety defects; * Operate forestry harvesting machinery for activities including cutting, processing, forwarding or skidding, loading, chipping, mechanical delimbing, yard machines, and timber transport vehicles, aiming to achieve the established productivity standard for each equipment type. Operate motor graders/backhoes to carry out earthmoving services, road maintenance, firebreaks, slopes, soil and gravel distribution, and road system rehabilitation; * Perform mechanical repairs on equipment when necessary, and conduct checklists at defined frequencies; * Demonstrate proficiency with electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones for production reporting, safety checklists, opening maintenance orders (MO), recording occupational gymnastics, and logging working hours; * Provide information to support management, contributing to maintenance priority planning and machine performance analysis, as well as monitoring the quality of performed operations; * Drive light and heavy vehicles when required; * Serve as a forest firefighting brigade member; * Comply with minimum requirements of operational quality assessment processes; * Follow Micro Operational Planning guidelines; * Ensure operational quality in performed activities (felling, processing, forwarding, skidding, loading and unloading, chipping, transportation, and chipper refueling); * Operate light vehicles when qualified and authorized by management; * Conduct immersion tests within established standards; * Act as firefighter and leader during forest fires and frosts; * Conduct periodic field and yard inventories. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Driver’s License Category D; * Experience in this role and/or related fields; * Availability to work rotating shifts; * Residence in Nova Ponte/Uberaba or Estrela do Sul/MG. **Additional Information** Aligned with our organizational culture, we **care for life wherever it may be**.
