




Job Summary: The Materials Controller is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and moving materials, ensuring inventory accuracy. Key Highlights: 1. A. Perform inventory verification through the system and physical separation of materials; B. Apply basic Lean and Logistics concepts relevant to the area; C. Assist in and perform truck loading/unloading, occasionally operating a forklift; D. Receive, execute, and physically verify part transfers; E. Understand and comply with the Material Handling Flow; F. Perform necessary system movements (Scrap, WOC, SPLIT, MERGE, SUBTRANSFER); G. Manage physical and system-based inventory inflows and outflows; H. Maintain continuous control over inventory balances; I. Comply with quality system requirements for handling, movement, packaging, and storage; J. Perform varied yet routine tasks requiring adherence to clearly defined procedures and standards. Problems encountered are resolved based on prior experience. K. Receive supervision while demonstrating initiative, enabling the incumbent to exercise sound judgment in making routine decisions. L. Conduct periodic inventory counts to maintain balance accuracy. M. Ensure proper custody, organization, and preservation of materials handled. **Qualifications:** ------------------ **Mandatory:** * Completed High School education * Availability to work during administrative hours, or during other shifts (1st or 2nd) as required * Minimum of 3 months’ experience in logistics, receiving, and shipping activities **Desirable:** * Basic computer skills * Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks * Forklift certification * Driver’s License Category B **Competencies:** * Quality, Productivity, Attendance, Safety, Creativity, Job Knowledge, Interpersonal Skills, Flexibility, Organization, Commitment, Initiative, Professionalism.
