In the history of the **Pague Menos and Extrafarma Pharmacy Network**, health and well-being are both origin and purpose. For us, promoting access to healthcare means freedom and dignity. We are a Brazilian company built by people passionate about people. Present in every state of the country, we are naturally giant and diverse!
Our story began in 1981, when we opened our first store in Fortaleza-CE, and through **human-centered values**, **results-driven excellence**, **customer focus**, **sustainability**, **integrity**, and **innovative solutions**, we became Brazil’s second-largest pharmacy chain.
Our business model focuses on selling products and services dedicated to our customers’ health and well-being. We operate in the specialty retail market, following the *drugstore* concept. We aim not only to be a pharmacy chain but an **integrated health hub**. Thus, since 2016, we have implemented Clinic Farma—a pharmaceutical consultation service where customers receive personalized treatment follow-up in equipped and comfortable rooms.
Today, we are more than 25,000 giants united by a shared purpose: ensuring access to quality healthcare across Brazil so more people can **live life fully**.
