Description

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for customer service, operating point-of-sale terminals, scanning or manually entering product codes, cash register closing, payment management, offering financial products, and customer acquisition. Key Highlights: 1. Customer service and operation of point-of-sale terminals. 2. Daily transaction closing and payment management. 3. Offering financial products and acquiring new customers. - Provide customer service by operating the point-of-sale terminal under your responsibility, scanning barcodes or manually entering product codes to register sold items. - Perform daily closing of the sales terminal under your responsibility: count amounts received via credit cards, debit cards, and cash; reconcile these with recorded sales values; investigate any discrepancies. - Receive payments in cash, credit cards, or debit cards, etc.; complete purchase settlements; and deliver the corresponding receipt or fiscal invoice to the customer. - Verify product codes to ensure labels match the point of sale; notify the cashier supervisor via the Cash Auditor in cases of discrepancies with customers. - Perform cash drawer opening and closing procedures, verifying the initial and final cash balances; serve customers who purchased products and/or services by registering purchases and collecting the corresponding amounts. - Provide information about or sell financial products, and inform customers about available payment methods and benefits. - Support credit operations by acquiring new customers, issuing credit proposals for credit analysis, and promoting current promotional campaigns. - Conduct cash withdrawals from the register as requested by supervisors or when excess cash is observed, for security purposes. - Maintain a clean and organized workplace to positively influence work practices and ensure higher quality performance. - Perform other related duties as directed by supervisors.
