Job Summary: This Maintenance Assistant will support inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements for equipment and infrastructure, ensuring optimal operational functionality. Here’s what this opportunity will involve on a day-to-day basis: **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support maintenance technicians in their activities, including periodic inspections of equipment and machinery as per planning and/or preventive maintenance schedules; perform appropriate tests, identify issues, estimate remaining service life, carry out immediate replacements, or include items in the scheduled plan; * Provide service to internal and external customers of the Distribution Center (DC); * Replace, swap, clean, and repair parts and components; * Maintain guillotine-type loading docks and leveling tables; * Perform hydraulic, civil, flooring, roofing, and gutter maintenance; * Record execution details of Service Orders, Service Requests, and Purchase Requests using available digital tools. * Specify components and materials required for planned activities; * Routinely consult technical manuals, locate information, and specify parts and materials using technical documentation and systems; * Use hand tools and equipment while performing tasks according to established procedures; * Organize files and coordinate the dispatch and receipt of materials relevant to your area of responsibility to ensure prompt equipment restoration; * Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certified under NR-15 regulations when handling greases, oils, solvents, lubricants, and similar substances to ensure worker safety. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; * Availability to work rotating shifts; * Enthusiasm for challenges and continuous learning; * Passion for and identification with the maintenance field. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in industrial or building maintenance; * Completed or ongoing Technical Course in Mechanics, Electrotechnics, or Building Maintenance; * Vocational training in maintenance. **Additional Information** **\*\*Please note: The application deadline for internal candidates is** **03/01/2026\.** **Work Location: São José, SC** **Work Mode: On-site** **Shift: First Shift (T1)** What excites you?
