As an Import Analyst, your mission is to ensure the efficient and strategic procurement of imported products for resale, developing suppliers with a focus on optimal cost-benefit ratios for both the company and its customers. You will oversee import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and logistical efficiency, managing documentation and customs procedures, and developing strategies for new international markets to maximize operational efficiency and profitability, thereby enhancing the company's competitiveness. Responsibilities: Conduct international procurement of technical parts, focusing on cost reduction and product quality assurance; Negotiate with international suppliers (primarily from Asia and the USA), seeking optimal commercial terms (price, delivery time, quality, supply capacity); Develop new international suppliers by conducting feasibility analysis, qualification, and performance monitoring; Maintain detailed records of each import process, emphasizing traceability of financial settlements via trading companies; Implement and monitor import orders from negotiation through arrival in Brazil, coordinating shipments, documentation, and interface with trading companies; Control and update financial spreadsheets/processes related to international procurement; Ensure documentary compliance in import processes (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.); Collaborate with logistics and controller departments to align schedules, costs, and deadlines; Prepare managerial reports with KPIs related to supplier performance and import progress; Monitor international market trends and opportunities, suggesting new products or improvements. Requirements: Solid experience in import operations, preferably in the technical parts, machinery, or similar sectors; Experience in direct international negotiation with suppliers, especially from China and the USA; Ability to analyze commercial proposals, delivery timelines, and technical product quality; Fluent English (to be used daily for negotiations); Familiarity with trading companies and their financial routines (cost control, foreign exchange settlement, taxes, etc.); Organized and analytical profile, with strong negotiation skills and strategic vision; Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency for spreadsheet and report management; Knowledge of the Sankhya system is a plus Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Languages: * English (Advanced)
