Job Summary: The Nursing Technician will be responsible for adhering to the Code of Ethics, implementing nursing standards, receiving shift handovers, preparing patients for surgery, and providing postoperative care. Prepare and accompany patients during surgical procedures **Availability for schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday according to rotating shifts and 12:00 PM weekday shifts.** **Nursing Technician** Responsibilities: Enforce and ensure compliance with the Nursing Code of Ethics and the Professional Practice Law. Know and implement nursing standards, routines, and procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Receive shift handover, collecting all necessary information, including hospitalized patients, anticipated admissions, and sector progress records. Check the surgical flow board daily. Assemble trays containing materials and medications for patient triage and deliver them to the rest area. Verify whether the patient is cleared for surgery by reviewing the electronic medical record, including laboratory tests and surgical risk assessment. Record patient admission and triage data in the MV system, accurately entering vital signs. Instruct the patient on changing clothes, mark the eye to be operated on, and administer mydriatic eye drops when indicated for specific procedures. Transport the patient to the Surgical Center in a wheelchair as requested by the department, and complete patient transfer in the MV system. Review medical prescriptions, calculate medication dilutions, and incorporate them into the care plan.
