Also performs tasks such as: * Sorting clothes by fabric type and degree of soiling * Weighing and adjusting washing machines * Inspecting washed clothes for stains and quality * Spinning wet clothes * Separating damaged clothes for repair * Transferring clothes to vacuum ironing tables or calenders * Folding and packaging clothes * Keeping materials and the workplace clean and organized * Managing linen inflow and outflow * Participating in linen inventory Some skills that contribute to a laundry assistant's strong performance include: Knowledge of clothing and fabric repair, Good communication, Ability to handle work-related stress.
