Responsibilities include assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment, as well as executing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Identify root causes of failures or issues in vehicles or equipment using diagnostic tools and tests, ensuring accurate diagnosis and correct identification of replacement parts and/or third-party services required; * Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components—this may involve replacing damaged or worn parts; * Carry out routine maintenance to prevent future failures, such as oil changes, filter replacements, system inspections and adjustments, among others, and properly record all activities in the maintenance system, including before-and-after photos; * Adjust and calibrate components to ensure safe and efficient vehicle or equipment operation; * Properly request parts using the requisition form and fully document all actions in the maintenance system during execution, including photos and technical assessments; * Conduct inspections to ensure all systems and components comply with safety standards; * Maintain tools and diagnostic/repair equipment in operational condition and request calibration whenever necessary; * Stay updated on new technologies and procedures related to vehicles and equipment through training and technical manual review; * Record all performed activities—including diagnostics, repairs, replaced parts, and other relevant observations—in the maintenance system; * Communicate daily with the workshop supervisor to report actions carried out within the workshop. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; technical training in automotive mechanics or a related field is a plus. * Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy-duty vehicles. * Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and develop effective solutions. * Capacity to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Commitment to quality, safety, and work efficiency. * Availability to work rotating shifts and schedules as required. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in maintenance of airport ground support equipment. * Additional certifications in diesel engine or hydraulic system maintenance. * Familiarity with airport safety standards and operational regulations. Regarding **physical requirements**, broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, locomotion, and ambulation are required to carry out maintenance and respond to emergency services. Regarding **sensory requirements**, visual acuity is required for inspections, maintenance, and driving company vehicles (a regulated activity under the Brazilian Traffic Code – CTB), and auditory perception is required for telephone support, internal communications, identifying abnormal noises from parts and equipment, and recognizing emergency sound signals in public roads and operational areas. Regarding **neuropsychological requirements**, attention, concentration, organizational ability, creativity, interpretation of technical drawings and data, and initiative to resolve causal situations are required. **Additional Information** It is nearly impossible to walk through an airport in Brazil without seeing the **dnata** logo.
