Job Summary: A professional responsible for inventory control, organization, receipt, and dispatch of goods, ensuring product integrity and proper storage. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory control and organization, including incoming and outgoing goods 2. Verification of invoices, product quality, and integrity 3. Maintenance of warehouse cleanliness and safety to prevent losses and accidents Control and Receipt: outgoing goods and merchandise. Verifies invoices, quantities, quality, and integrity of products arriving and departing for delivery. Shelving arrangement and proper storage. Organizes items by type, code, batch, or expiry date, ensuring easy location and preservation. Records incoming and outgoing goods in the system or spreadsheets, keeping stock balances continuously updated. Periodic inventory Physical counting of products to compare against system records and correct discrepancies. Packaging and dispatch Packages, labels, and releases orders for transportation or pickup. Warehouse organization and cleaning. Maintains a clean, safe, and functional warehouse to prevent damage, losses, and accidents. Supervises expiry date control and damage management. Monitors expiration dates, identifies damaged products, and those nearing expiry. Logistics support Assists with loading/unloading, internal movement, and space optimization. Supports the finance department by delivering verified invoices (NFS) and received orders. Supports fleet logistics by checking with drivers for any vehicle issues.
