The occupational safety technician is responsible for ensuring employee safety in the workplace, preventing accidents, and promoting occupational health. This professional implements safety standards, conducts training, performs inspections, and investigates incidents to prevent risks and ensure compliance with labor legislation.
* Conduct safety inspections in work areas, identifying potential hazards and proposing preventive measures.
* Develop and deliver occupational safety training, including PPE usage, emergency procedures, and accident prevention.
* Investigate workplace accidents, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Monitor the implementation of accident prevention programs such as SIPAT and CIPA, ensuring active employee participation.
* Perform risk analysis for work activities, proposing process and working condition improvements.
* Maintain up-to-date safety records, including PGR, PCMSO, and CAT, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss safety issues and promote a prevention-oriented culture.
* Support the preparation of technical documents, such as reports on insalubrity and danger, contributing to occupational safety and health management.
