Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for delivering and transporting construction materials, loading and unloading cargo, verifying goods, maintaining the vehicle, and providing customer service. Friendly customer service * Delivery and Transportation: Drive and maneuver the company's vehicle (truck, category C) to transport construction materials to residences, construction sites, and job sites, following established routes and schedules. * Loading and Unloading: Assist with or be solely responsible for loading and unloading materials from the vehicle, using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring careful handling of products to prevent damage. * Goods Verification: Check items upon receipt (loading) and at delivery to the customer, ensuring quantity and type of material match the delivery note/order and invoice. * Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance (e.g., oil level, coolant level, tire pressure), report required servicing, and ensure cleanliness and good condition of the truck or van. * Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, representing the company's image and ensuring satisfaction with delivery services. * Safety and Regulations: Strictly comply with traffic laws and company safety regulations, practicing defensive driving to protect both cargo and oneself.
