Inclusive and welcoming work environment JOB DESCRIPTION **It's more than a job** ------------------------ As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne\+Nagel, you will manage end\-to\-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day\-to\-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. At Kuehne\+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine. ###### **‎** Responsible for ensuring operational activities including order picking, verification, vehicle loading and unloading; ensuring inventory processes, planning, dispatch, and gatehouse operations; Team leadership and motivation; Responsible for compliance with QSHE standards and procedures. **How you create impact** ------------------------- * Continuously verify PPE usage and safety conditions; * Ensure adherence to safety concepts and regulations (QSHE); * Assign tasks to assistants, operators, team leaders, assistants, analysts, and verifiers; * Evaluate employee productivity; coordinate loading and unloading; * Support loading operations by assessing vehicle conditions, assembly teams, and guiding drivers; * Ensure workplace cleanliness and order; report accidents and incidents per safety procedures; * Monitor picking and verification flow, evaluating optimal loading and unloading methods for vehicles; * Guide team on customer-specific standards; * Lead the team; complete area documentation; * Supervise storage areas, ensuring compliance with CIEL system procedures and processes; * Actively participate in inventory activities; * Supervise replenishment of the picking area; * Monitor picking flow and ergonomics, correcting and guiding assistants and operators in cases of uncertainty or non-conforming postures, and ensuring physical safety during material handling; * Coordinate stock/receiving, and loading/unloading of empty pallets, packaging, and other supplies; * Ensure all routines related to loading/unloading products for reprocessing, donation, return, and testing are fulfilled; ensure all VAS and Returns area routines are fulfilled; * Ensure safety briefings are conducted; * Ensure performance and behavioral feedback sessions (HR) are conducted; * Monitor and ensure Count Back process results; * Verify and ensure equipment availability (pallet jacks, RFTs, forklifts, etc.) and infrastructure (layout, signage, preventive maintenance, etc.); * Ensure organization and cleanliness of internal and external yards; * Observe and respect KN values; **What we would like you to bring** ----------------------------------- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office and internal KN systems Knowledge of operational routines People management Performance and KPI management **What's in it for you** ------------------------ At Kuehne\+Nagel, a career is more than you imagine — it’s an opportunity to grow, contribute, and make an impact.
