Job Summary: The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer oversees construction works, analyzes projects, ensures operational safety, and optimizes energy generation at solar power plants. Maintenance monitoring and operational optimization The engineer must possess a construction inspector profile, requiring project knowledge to perform solar power plant acceptance, basic project understanding to identify irregularities, familiarity with standards to critique designs, and field experience to conduct inspections, prepare reports, and support maintenance activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Respond to requests from external agencies and internal departments; * Actively participate in company meetings and commitments when requested; * Analyze and propose improvements to operational routines to optimize departmental operations and achieve business line objectives. OPERATIONS/MAINTENANCE * Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for specific activities, ensuring system and personnel safety; * Conduct root cause analyses and respond to identified events with justifications and recommendations; * Monitor technical visits and services at power plants, including inspections and maintenance; * Register purchase orders (POs) for solar power plants per company procedures; * Draft operational messages (MOs) to fulfill operational agreements with utility regulations, etc.; * Provide technical support to the O\&M department; * Validate preliminary risk analyses (APR); * Provide technical support to the Generation Operations Center (COG); * Analyze causes of events and unplanned outages at plants to rapidly restore system functionality and resume normal generation; * Develop corporate procedures to comply with company quality regulations and internal audit recommendations, contributing to operational excellence; * Provide technical support to the Maintenance department in analyzing execution procedures (PEX); * Assess necessity, request electrical studies from specialized companies, and manage related negotiations; POST-OPERATION * Analyze site energy generation and forward data to the Finance Department; * Analyze energy generation losses; * Analyze field events based on information extracted from systems to prepare asset availability indicator reports; * Compare generation data with the billing team, analyze discrepancies and missing data, and request data adjustments when necessary; * Analyze equipment downtime, tracking equipment hours and energy generation availability; * Address deviations with energy generation equipment suppliers; * Handle pre-operation, real-time, and post-operation demands from Distribution Companies (accesses, switching operations) via systems; * Review field team documentation (OT, PEX, APR, RTM, etc.) to safely authorize specific activities; * Use company-defined data extraction tools and management reporting systems; * Collaborate with the Performance team to prepare asset performance reports. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Experience in the solar energy sector; Experience executing maintenance at solar power plants; Knowledge of NR\-10, SEP, and other electrical sector technical standards; Knowledge of electrical circuit assembly, substation equipment, power flow, oscillograph analysis, project analysis, and spare parts management; Willingness to travel; Residence in Fortaleza/CE.
