Job Summary: As a Shift Manager, you will lead the daily operations of an Amazon Logistics Delivery Station, providing support and leadership to teams while managing relationships and performance of external agencies in a collaborative and innovative environment. Focus on continuous improvement and problem solving **DESCRIPTION** --------------- The Amazon Logistics team is seeking a Shift Manager to join AMZL Brazil at our Delivery Station during either the day or night shift. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of a Delivery Station. Your role will include providing support and leadership to Team Leaders, Operators, and Delivery Service Providers, as well as managing relationships and performance of external agencies. Key job responsibilities * Be based at one of our delivery stations. Amazon operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; therefore, shift work—including weekends and holidays—is part of this role; * Supervise operations focused on delivering Amazon orders directly to customers; * Support your team of operational leaders in the daily management of the delivery station. This includes workforce allocation, leading meetings, task assignment, and communication with internal and external suppliers; * Work with KPIs such as On-Time Dispatch, First-Day Delivery Success, and improving customer service; * Think analytically about project management with attention to detail, ability to influence others, and exceptional organizational skills; * Be metrics-obsessed and dive deep to quickly identify root causes and drive improvements; * Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing core quality or functionality. Use exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence both business and technical audiences; * Provide daily support during the rollout/implementation of new systems/processes and collect feedback; * Map business requirements, understand business processes, study and analyze workflow, and design solutions; * Continuously use software and hardware tools to ensure normal day-to-day operations. Ensure associates have the appropriate tools to perform their jobs and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary; * Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to other Operations departments and across Amazon, as needed. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English * Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
