Description

Job Summary: Responsible for organizing, restocking, and pricing merchandise at the point of sale, ensuring product availability and proper display. Key Responsibilities: 1. Keep the sales area always well-stocked and organized according to the layout. 2. Perform daily pricing and verification of products. 3. Assist customers and ensure merchandise quality. Promote pricing, restocking, and organization of merchandise at the point of sale. * Maintain the sales area always well-stocked, in accordance with the layout standard; * Restock shelves with merchandise as needed, retrieving items from the warehouse to perform replenishment; * Prevent stockouts in the sales area while inventory is still available; * Daily verify that all products displayed on shelves have price labels; * Receive price labels for your department and apply pricing, verifying that information is correct; * Clean products before restocking department shelves and clean shelves whenever necessary; * Organize the department by product category, giving greater visibility to high-turnover items; * Inform your supervisor when stock levels are low or depleted for various items; * Place excess or promotional items in strategic locations for better customer visibility and access; * Assist customers with product inquiries, accompany them to the department, and, if necessary, retrieve items for them; * Inspect damaged merchandise and remove it from the point of sale; * Notify the supervisor regarding the need to purchase additional merchandise; * Monitor product expiration dates and remove items from the point of sale three days prior to expiration; * Process returned items for restocking.
