MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - AIR CONDITIONING, VENTILATION, AND REFRIGERATION

Job Summary: The professional will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, adjustments, calibrations, and diagnostics on ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment to ensure proper operation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of ventilation/refrigeration/AC systems 2. Assisting the supervisor in maintenance evaluation and control 3. Compliance with technical standards and safety regulations Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, adjustments, calibrations, and defect diagnostics on ventilation/refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and installations; Carry out assigned tasks by consulting drawings and/or information to establish the task sequence; Assist the refrigeration and air conditioning supervisor in their duties, particularly regarding evaluation and control of ventilation/refrigeration and air conditioning system maintenance; Guide task execution activities, resolve issues, provide clarifications, and take other measures to ensure compliance with established technical standards; Inspect operating machinery, equipment, and various technical instruments using precision instruments or experimental operation to verify compliance with technical and safety requirements; Request components, equipment, instruments, materials, and other parts from the supervisor to meet work requirements; Use personal protective equipment (PPE); Complete a daily checklist of performed activities, documenting and reporting any nonconformities and/or irregularities detected to the refrigeration and air conditioning supervisor; Respond to emergency and urgent requests, informing relevant personnel as per established instructions and guidelines. **Requirements:** Completed elementary education; Proven work experience in the field, as evidenced by employment record; Completion of training compliant with Ministry of Economy’s Regulatory Standard NR-10 within three (3) months after commencement of professional activities.
