Job Summary: A chemical technician to perform analyses, process control for galvanizing, waste and effluent management, and maintenance coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Perform analysis and control of hot-dip galvanizing processes 2. Coordinate the operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) 3. Conduct quality control and laboratory analyses REQUIREMENTS: * Technical education in Chemistry; * Active registration with the Regional Chemistry Council (CRQ); * Knowledge of industrial chemical processes (experience in galvanizing is a plus); * Familiarity with quality control and laboratory analysis; * Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards; * Availability to work Monday through Friday; * Willingness to work on-site in Eusébio/CE. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform analyses, monitor, and adjust galvanizing baths in hot-dip galvanizing processes; * Control disposal of waste generated from the galvanizing process; * Monitor and track departmental performance indicators; * Prepare and submit technical reports to regulatory authorities; * Coordinate WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) operations according to established procedures; * Coordinate cleaning and basic maintenance of galvanizing line equipment; * Collect samples and conduct laboratory analyses; * Manage inventory of chemical supplies and replenish tanks along the galvanizing line; * Issue requisitions for supply replenishment; * Clean equipment and work tools; * Perform other duties inherent to the role.
