Job Summary: A radio professional specializing in hosting, narration, and interviews, supporting production, and engaging with the audience and team. Key Highlights: 1. Hosting journalistic radio programs and interviews. 2. Assisting in the production and revision of radio scripts. 3. Engaging with the audience and coordinating with the team. Hosting journalistic radio programs: Conducting radio newscasts, bulletins, and informational segments; opening and closing programs; making transitions; introducing segments, columns, reports, and service features (e.g., weather, traffic, public utility information). Reporting and narrating events: Reading and interpreting news items, briefs, and reports with appropriate intonation, adherence to journalistic objectivity, and clear pronunciation; narrating specials, audio documentaries, and educational content. Interviewing sources and guests: Conducting live or recorded interviews; formulating questions; moderating discussions; managing speaking time; ensuring balanced participation between interviewee(s) and listeners. Assisting in script production and revision: Participating in topic planning; writing and adapting texts for spoken language; reviewing scripts, cue sheets, and report introductions to ensure smooth delivery during broadcasting. Engaging with the audience and team: Interacting with listeners (e.g., reading messages, facilitating phone/social media participation); coordinating with editing, sound design, and reporting teams; managing timing and cueing of jingles, background music, and commercials during broadcasts. Assisting in editorial planning and scheduling: Helping develop the journalistic programming schedule; assisting in organizing bulletin, interview, and segment rotation schedules; updating internal program timelines. Supporting programming coordination: Suggesting schedule adjustments; participating in planning meetings; providing feedback on audience metrics, program dynamics, and technical requirements. A completed technical course in radio and television is required. DRT (Professional Registration with the Regional Labor Office). Basic knowledge of equipment and system operation.
