Job Summary: Ensure environmental compliance of construction projects, prevent environmental impacts, and promote operational sustainability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Construction environmental management and legal compliance. 2. Preparation of environmental management reports and plans. 3. Monitoring of resource consumption and waste generation. Ensure environmental compliance of construction projects by adhering to applicable legislation, contractual requirements, and internal guidelines, preventing environmental impacts and promoting operational sustainability. Construction site environmental management Prepare the Monthly Environmental Statistical Report (MESR); Monitor water consumption from various sources, generated/disposed effluents, and quantities of generated/destined wastes; Inventory of machinery and equipment and black smoke testing; Document deviations and non-conformities; Monitor construction activities, implemented control measures, and the environmental status of adjacent areas and watercourses. Prepare the Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) – Waste and Effluent Management Plan. Ensuring no harm is caused to the environment or third parties; if such harm occurs, remediation will be required.
