This professional will provide technical support related to production and operations, validate training and capacity-building processes for operational teams, identify and participate in anomaly analyses, and conduct studies and propose solutions to maintain continuous production pace and operational balance within the area. **Position:** **Technical Assistant I – Chip Preparation** **Area of Responsibility: Chip Preparation Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities:** * Ensure effectiveness of operational systems, production processes, and maintenance at the Chip Preparation plant, considering technical and economic feasibility; * Foster synergy and alignment of objectives among involved departments, optimizing process outcomes and continuous improvement (systematic analysis and elimination of root causes of failures); * Provide technical support in developing maintenance budgets, ensuring compliance with process consumables requirements, and jointly developing supplier solutions aligned with departmental needs; * Support scheduled shutdowns (PP), aiming to achieve established equipment availability targets required to meet production goals; * Collaborate with shift teams to sustain continuous production pace through operational guidance, thereby maintaining area stability and balance; * Validate and monitor operational training processes to ensure team capability development; * Develop operational procedures jointly with the technical team to standardize activities relevant to the area; * Adhere to factory license conditions by implementing procedures compliant with established environmental parameters; * Plan operational and maintenance requirements for the unit—including PP (Scheduled Shutdown) and PG (General Shutdown)—to optimize area performance and availability; * Contribute to implementation of Veracel safety procedures to prevent accidents and reduce risks, utilizing available safety tools. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Pulp and Paper Engineering; * Experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance of heavy machinery; * Knowledge of industrial processes and projects; * Knowledge of chip preparation and log yard operations; * Knowledge of pulp production; * Proactivity; * Dynamism; * Teamwork; **It’s a Plus If You Have:** * Mechanical training; **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Christmas basket * Payroll-deductible loan * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site cafeteria * Life insurance * Company-provided transportation * Meal allowance * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) **Selection Process Stages (All stages are eliminatory):** * Profile assessment of candidates registered on the Gupy platform; * Behavioral profile assessment; * HR interview; * Technical interview with manager; We are Veracel Celulose.
