Service Order (SO) management in SAP **Job Category** ================ Production \& Skilled Trades**Position Summary** ==================== Responsible for monitoring operating equipment and their respective service orders, working collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor.**Responsibilities** ==================== Expedite replenishment of registered spare parts by analyzing material stock status via purchasing / warehouse. Monitor factory equipment “Online” to assess their operational status. Create, close, and monitor Corrective Maintenance Service Orders in the SAP system. Assess, negotiate, and communicate equipment service priorities with the Production Department, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor. Register and control service orders not initiated by the Production Department using electronic spreadsheets. Support the shift supervisor in allocating maintenance technicians. Request and control materials to be used during maintenance department activities using the SAP system. Issue and control completion of maintenance technicians’ service orders via the SAP system. Identify any quality issues with supplied parts and report them to the immediate supervisor for resolution. Initiate, recommend, or arrange solutions for material/labor-related issues through designated channels. Identify, monitor, and communicate shift maintenance team requirements. Observe safety regulations, including mandatory use of PPE(s) and compliance with safety rules and procedures. Guide team members on maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness within the department.
