Supervise and coordinate sawmill operations, ensuring achievement of production, quality, and safety targets. Optimize human, material, and operational resources to enhance efficiency across all process stages. Responsible for monitoring cutting, sawing, drying, and dispatch operations of sawn timber, ensuring compliance with technical, environmental standards, and NR-12 and FSC regulations. * Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production according to product mix and installed capacity. * Assign tasks and guide operational teams, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. * Control the quality of sawn timber at all production stages (cutting, reuse, drying). * Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment (saws, breakdown machines, planers, etc.). * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), such as yield, losses, productivity, downtime, and rework. * Lead production meetings, propose continuous improvements, and participate in audits—especially FSC audits. * Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory, controlling losses and preventing waste. * Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization within the sawmill in accordance with environmental and occupational health standards. * Train, evaluate, and develop the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. * Complete daily production, downtime, and operational anomaly reports. * Active leadership and clear communication with operational teams. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous process improvement. * Ability to make decisions under pressure. * Organizational skills, operational discipline, and attention to detail. * Strong conflict management and interpersonal relationship skills.
